Southern Bellfrog

Due to changes in the flow of the River Murray, Southern Bellfrogs now only exist in small and isolated populations. Vulnerable as they are they may still hold the key to a deadly global fungal infection as Australian Scientists are providing “frog saunas” for these frogs to self medicate by raising their own core body temperatures to combat the fungus.
